There are three main points for winter running

1. Warm up

Because the temperature is low, it is more difficult for the body to warm up than in other seasons. At this time, you must not accelerate rashly, otherwise it is easy to cause strain.

Tan Jie said that you can warm up before running, which can not only warm up the body quickly, prepare the joints, muscles and heart, but also prevent accidents.

For example, jogging, plank support, sit-ups, push-ups, etc. are all very good warm-up activities.

2. Hydrate

Many people don’t want to drink water in winter because the water is too cold. Indeed, drinking cold water immediately after running is not good for your health.

Therefore, it is recommended that beginner runners do not need to drink too much water when running in winter, and even if they need to drink, do not drink cold water. If there is no warm water, you can hold the water in your mouth for a while and then swallow it, so that the water in your stomach will also be warm.
