What is the heart rate during physical exercise?

In this colorful world, people are independent individuals. Everyone has his or her own characteristics and is unique. By analogy, everyone's physique is different. That is why, after a series of physical exercises, everyone's heart rate is completely different. So, what is the heart rate during physical exercise? Is it fast or low?

A person's heart rate should be high during physical exercise.

Studies have shown that the maximum heart rate an individual reaches during exercise is closely related to genetics. Literature reports that the maximum heart rate during exercise can reach 220 beats or more, but of course there are great individual differences. For a person who regularly participates in fitness activities, the heart rate intensity may only be around 130 beats per minute, which is only equivalent to a medium to low intensity exercise.

After exercise, the heart rate recovers quickly.

The recovery of cardiovascular organs follows a special rule. In the first half of the recovery phase after exercise, the heart rate drops faster and the recovery process of the violently beating heart is also stronger. For most people, the recovery heart rate in the first minute of a short exercise can drop by 70%, and the heart rate can be fully recovered after four minutes. For those with weak constitutions, the first half of the recovery time after exercise will be delayed by one time or more, and the recovery process of the entire cardiovascular system will also be slower.

A person's optimal exercise heart rate varies depending on age, gender, physique and health. Generally speaking, young people around 20-30 years old should control their heart rate between 150-175 beats/minute during exercise; middle-aged people aged 40-50 should control their heart rate between 140-155 beats/minute during exercise; and the elderly over 60 years old should control their heart rate between 110-135 beats/minute during exercise.

During physical exercise, everyone's heart rate is very high, which is due to the fast heart rate in a resting state. However, perhaps because everyone's physique is different, the number of heart rate beats during exercise is different for each person. Furthermore, after physical exercise, our heart rate recovers relatively quickly, so there is no need to think too much about it.
