Precautions and safety requirements when swimming

This summer I want to enroll my child in a swimming class. What are the precautions to take when learning to swim? What safety requirements should be known during swimming lessons? I am usually quite busy with work. When I enrolled my child in swimming classes, I couldn't accompany my children to practice like other parents. My son has a strong adaptability, so I was quite relieved. But I was still worried that there would be some rules that he wouldn't understand when learning to swim. I consulted a friend who had learned swimming before, and here are the precautions and safety requirements that my friend told me.

1. Please gather at the swimming pool lobby before class and be brought in by the teacher after being called. You must leave promptly after class. No entry is allowed during non-swimming class hours. If any accident occurs, you will be responsible for it yourself. 2. To maintain order and safety in the swimming pool and ensure the quality of the class, students should follow the arrangements and instructions of the teacher. Violators will be severely punished and will be expelled from the class in serious circumstances. 3. You must shower and soak your feet in the pool before entering the pool to clean your skin and adapt to the stimulation of the water temperature. 4. When entering the pool, you must wear well-fitting, colored swimming suits and a swimming cap, do warm-up exercises, and it is recommended to wear auxiliary swimming supplies such as goggles, earplugs, and nose clips. Life-saving equipment such as life buoys, life jackets and floats are not allowed to be brought into the pool. 5. Keep the swimming pool quiet. Pushing, pressing, fighting, chasing, diving, running and making fun of each other are prohibited during swimming lessons. 6. Swimming classes are conducted in a closed manner. The door will be closed 5 minutes after the class starts and opened 5 minutes before the get out of class ends. Leaving the swimming pool during breaks requires the teacher's consent, and upon return you must report to the teacher promptly. 7. You are not allowed to wipe your body, spit or do other unhygienic behaviors in the pool. 6. Anyone with skin diseases, eye diseases, heart diseases, epilepsy, colds, fevers or other diseases that are not suitable for swimming is not allowed to enter the pool. 7. It is prohibited to bring any edible items into the pool (including chewing gum). 8. It is prohibited to enter the pool wearing fins, slippers, sunscreen or other cosmetics. 9. Valuables must be kept properly and are not allowed to be brought into swimming lessons. 10. It is prohibited to bring rope-like items such as belts, towels, etc. into the swimming pool. 11. If you find any unusual behavior between yourself and your classmates, you should report it to the teacher present in a timely manner. 12. The physical education committee member must cooperate with the teacher to take notes of the swimming class.

The above are what my friend told me about the precautions and safety requirements when swimming. These contents put my mind at ease and allow children to know what to do and when, and what should not be done. I found that after learning to swim, my child loved to eat a lot, and his body became stronger, but his skin became a little darker, but it’s okay, boys don’t have to worry about dark spots. Good health is the most important thing.
