What are the basics of golf clubs?

Everyone knows that golf is a very good competitive sport. This sport is often done by people in their leisure time. It is not a high-intensity sport, but it requires the coordination of physical and intellectual strength to complete. It can also be considered a competitive sport. Many white-collar workers like to do such sports after get off work. This not only achieves the effect of physical exercise, but also allows people to communicate well with each other and bring people closer together.

Wood poles: In the past, "wood poles" were of course made of wood (hence the name), but now they come in a variety of different materials. Generally speaking, wood clubs are slightly larger than other clubs. Woods are the quintessential long-distance club, meaning distance is more important than accuracy. Drivers are usually "1" woods, with a club face angle generally between 8 and 12 degrees (with a club face angle of 0 degrees being perpendicular to the ground). Irons: Irons were originally made of iron, but are now mostly made of steel. Irons are smaller than woods and are often considered fine clubs, used more for accuracy than distance.

Generally speaking, the number represents the club face angle. The lower the number, the lower the clubface angle and the longer the club. The result of a lower clubface and a longer club is more distance, but less accuracy. This also means that the club with a smaller number is more difficult to hit.

Metal shafts: Overcast metal club heads are quite popular, mainly because the weight of the outer periphery is additionally controlled (this was not the original design intention, but the casting process of the product makes the weight distribution more moderate). The stainless steel club head is cast hollow to avoid being too heavy, and the hollow part is usually filled with polyurethane to reduce noise. Many people have noticed that swinging with a metalwood head increases distance regardless of whether they hit the center or not.

Graphite: Materials commonly used for shafts are also often used to make graphite club heads. There are slight differences in the production techniques of the two. Graphite prepreg is mixed with ABS plastic and injected into the club head mold. The second version is to make a prepreg with epoxy and then compress the mixture into a mold. Graphite club heads are made to the same weight as wood and metal club heads, but are usually larger than conventional club heads. This will increase the size of the "sweet spot". However, the test results cannot prove that graphite club heads are better to swing or have a longer distance than club heads made of other materials.

However, there are a lot of basic knowledge that you need to pay attention to for this kind of sport, because this sport is not like other sports that have a lot of skills in it. If you don’t master some skills, you can’t do this sport. This is also a leisure sport, but if you do this kind of sport frequently, you can exercise your body well and increase your body’s resistance.
