So, how should we practice yoga at home?

1. When practicing, make sure the room is relatively quiet and the air is well circulated.

2. You can choose to practice on the bed, but don't practice on a bed that is too soft. It would be best if you can prepare a yoga mat. Then you can practice in your pajamas and barefoot.

3. When learning yoga from a CD, you must be careful not to learn while watching the CD. You should practice after watching the CD. Because yoga emphasizes meditation and mental concentration, if you watch while doing it and your attention is distracted, it will be difficult to complete meditation and you will not achieve the real purpose of practicing yoga.

4. Practicing yoga does not necessarily have to be done by copying the movements on the CD. Practitioners can do as many movements as they can remember. The order of movements is not fixed and should be done as they please. Just keep your breathing steady and your mind peaceful.

5. If the rhythm of the movements in the CD is too fast, it means that the CD you chose has basically no learning value and you can give up. When practicing yoga, you must maintain 3 to 5 breaths for each movement. After practicing yoga, you should feel happy instead of tired or even painful.

6. When doing fitness at home, perseverance is often a formidable enemy for practitioners, and the same is true for yoga. Regarding this issue, do not force yourself to practice yoga. Yoga does not have to be done every day. Only when you are in a good mood, feel good, and have free time, you will get twice the result with half the effort.

No matter what you do, you must pay attention to persistence and not give up halfway. The same is true for practicing yoga. Only by persisting in practicing can you achieve the purpose you want to practice. When practicing yoga at home, you can practice some simple movements. Because many people practice by following CDs, many movements are not done properly. If you want to practice well, it is best to find a professional yoga instructor to teach you.
