Kidney Meridian Exercises

The meridians of the kidneys are particularly critical, because each meridian is related to our lives, so we need to do some things to protect the kidneys. If the patient's kidneys fail, they can only prolong their lives through dialysis, but the cost of dialysis is very expensive and the process is painful, so prevention is more important. So how do you take care of the kidney meridians?

It starts from the bottom of the little toe, slanting towards the center of the foot (Yongquan), coming out from under the tuberosity of the navicular bone (Rangu, Zhaohai, Shuiquan), along the back of the inner ankle (Taixi), and branches into the middle of the heel (Dazhong); goes up to the inside of the calf (Fuliu, Jiaoxin; meets Sanyinjiao), comes out from the inside of the fossa (Zhubin, Yingu), goes up to the inner and posterior side of the thigh, passes through the spine (meets Changqiang), belongs to the kidney, and connects to the bladder (Langyu, Zhongzhu, Siman, Qixue, Dahe, Henggu; meets Guanyuan, Zhongji). Straight meridians: From the kidney upward (Shangqu, Shiguan, Yindu, Tonggu, Youmen), through the liver, diaphragm, into the lungs (Bulang, Shenfeng, Lingxu, Shenzang, Yuzhong, Yufu), along the throat, and beside the root of the tongue (Tonglianquan). Its branches: come out from the lungs, connect with the heart, flow into the chest, and connect with the hand Jueyin pericardium meridian.

1. Anal contraction exercise: any time, any place, of course, the scene with birds singing and flowers blooming is better. You can relax your whole body and breathe naturally: contract the anus when exhaling, relax when inhaling, and do it continuously for about 30 times. This exercise is very beneficial and can prevent involuntary urination in old age.

2. Learn Tai Chi: Don’t think that Tai Chi is just a sport for the elderly. It can not only soothe people's emotions, but also exercise the muscles of the whole body. It is elegant and fashionable. In the eyes of foreigners, Tai Chi is the most fashionable way of fitness, and its popularity is no less than yoga.

3. Self-massage your waist: Rub your palms together until they are warm, then place your hands on your waist with your palms facing the skin, and massage your waist up and down until you feel warm. Once in the morning and once in the evening, about 200 times each time. This exercise can warm the life gate, strengthen the kidneys and absorb qi.

4. Stimulate the soles of the feet. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the Yongquan point on the soles of the feet is the well point of the kidney meridian. Regular massage of the Yongquan point can replenish essence and nourish the kidneys, soothe the liver and improve eyesight, clear the heart and calm the mind, promote sleep, strengthen the body, and prevent premature aging. It has certain therapeutic effects on dizziness, insomnia, tinnitus, hemoptysis and headache caused by kidney deficiency. The method is: rub your hands together to warm them up, then rub the sole of your right foot with your left hand, and rub the sole of your left foot with your right hand, once in the morning and once in the evening, rubbing 300 times each time.
