Can jogging really build abdominal muscles?

Can jogging really build abdominal muscles?

Jogging is a way of running, which mainly refers to running at a slower speed. This method is more suitable for women. Because the intensity of jogging is enough to achieve the purpose of losing weight and exercising the abdomen. Many women also want to have a six-pack, so they actively participate in sports, hoping to exercise their abdominal muscles. So can jogging help exercise the abdominal muscles?

The best way to develop abdominal muscles is to do sit-ups every day, but some people do hundreds or thousands of sit-ups every day with no obvious effect. The reason is that the abdominal muscles are covered with a thick layer of fat. If the exercise method is incorrect, only the muscles under the fat will be trained, but the fat will not be fully burned.

There is an aerobic training method to quickly build abdominal muscles: first jog for 10 minutes, then lie down and do sit-ups, then get up and immediately do a sprint run, hold for more than 30 seconds, then lie down and do sit-ups immediately, then get up again, jog for 3 minutes, lie down again, get up again, and sprint run. This training method is extremely tiring, and few people can stick to it for a month. But for those who can stick to it, their abdominal muscles will be amazing.

There is another quick way to train your abdominal muscles (it is also very tiring, but effective): first lift your head and back off the ground, and stop in the air for a few seconds; then lift your body completely off the ground, with your elbows touching your knees, and hold for a few seconds; slowly fall down your body, without touching the ground, while your body is suspended in the air; finally, fall down your body completely. The above movements are for one time, and you can do them 8-10 times a day. In fact, this movement is combined with yoga and can be practiced by both men and women. Although it looks easy, it is actually very difficult and tiring to do. You can do it less once or twice at the beginning, and then slowly increase the number of times. As long as you exercise every day, I believe everyone will have perfect abdominal muscles, and most importantly, eight-pack abs will also appear.

Jogging is helpful for the abdominal muscles, because if you tighten your abdomen during jogging, the running effect will be better. But if you specifically want to train your abdominal muscles, you can choose some more targeted exercises. For example, sit-ups, push-ups, plank supports, side supports, etc. These exercises are specifically used to train the abdominal muscles.
