What are the steps of boxing practice

Many men choose boxing as a way to exercise themselves. Boxing is a very challenging sport. It is also a very passionate sport. However, it is very difficult to learn. If you don’t know how to practice the steps when boxing, then it is still difficult to practice boxing. Boxing consumes a lot of energy, so boxers pay special attention to their diet. So what are the steps in boxing?

Left straight punchEdit

Boxing Training Method Left Straight Punch: The left straight punch is the basis of all other punches in boxing. The ability to correctly use the left straight punch is the characteristic of a boxer with good technical qualities. All the boxing champions and famous boxers have a left straight punch that has been honed through long-term training. In 1959, American Ingmar Johnson fought Froud Patterson. His left straight punch made his opponent difficult to defend and knocked him down in the third round to win the world heavyweight championship. Larry Holmes, who defeated boxing champion Ali, practiced straight punches with his left hand for 9 months after injuring his right arm and finally won. Zheng Jichang, a Shanghai boxer in the 1930s, was known abroad as the "Far East Viper" because of his fast and fierce left straight punch.

Right straight punchEdit

The right straight punch is one of the powerful punches used in boxing. The straight punch is suitable for long-range attacks, but it is rarely used and can only be used when you are fully confident. Since the right straight punch is farther away from the opponent than the left punch, the body changes more when throwing the punch, so the right straight punch is slower than the left straight punch. In order to make it easier to hit the opponent, you need to use the left hand's feint to divert or destroy the opponent's defense, or use the left jab to divert the opponent's attention, or make the opponent lose balance, so as to create conditions and opportunities that are conducive to the right straight punch attack. Key points: From the basic posture, start to push off the ground with the sole of your right foot. The force generated by the right leg pushes the right hip joint forward, driving the waist to rotate forward quickly, while pushing the right shoulder forward. A punch is thrown forward in a straight line, attacking the opponent's head. Twisting the hips and waist and moving the right shoulder forward can increase the power and attack distance of the straight punch. The swing punch is a powerful punch that attacks the opponent from the side. Since you hit from the side, your body moves in the opposite direction, which serves to distract your opponent. However, the route of the swing punch is long, which can be easily discovered by the opponent, and because of its great force, it is easy to lose balance if it misses. The swing punch is slower than the straight punch and is generally not used as an initial lead punch.

Key points of left-swinging boxing to hit the head and abdomen: start from the basic posture, with the fist starting in front of your left shoulder, moving forward from the left side in an arc to hit the target, with the upper arm and forearm forming an angle of approximately 120 to 150 degrees, the arm level with the shoulder, and using the legs, waist, and neck to generate power, with the center of gravity shifted to the left foot. During the punching process, the fist and forearm slightly rotate inward, and the elbow slightly turned upward to be at the same height as the shoulder. At the moment of hitting the target, the shoulder, arm muscles and wrist joints suddenly tense up, and then relax, returning to the combat preparatory posture. When striking the opponent's abdomen or side area, the upper body can be tilted slightly to the right or the player can step to the right, using the movement of the body to increase the force of the strike.

When practicing boxing, just follow these methods. In this way, you can complete the boxing project in a very short time and become a real boxer. You must persist in boxing practice. Only by persisting for a long time can your boxing become more powerful. However, there are many things to pay attention to when boxing. You cannot go on the field when you are weak or sick. This is extremely disadvantageous to yourself.
