How to treat biceps injury

Generally, manual treatment can be used. The patient sits down and the doctor stands on the side. First, use the thumb to apply static pressure on the intertubercular groove for 1 minute, and then pluck, knead, push and press the long head of the biceps tendon from light to heavy for 10 minutes, once a day. In the acute phase, treatments such as local pain point blockade, physical therapy, and Chinese medicine hot compress and external washing can be used. With Chinese medicine, the patient can recover and return to normal in about 25 days.

Avoid eating rooster, beef and ginger in your diet, and use western medicine with caution. Excessive activities are not recommended.

Ice compress: If the joint feels hot to the touch, you can use ice compress. Alternate between 10 minutes of ice application and 10 minutes of rest. Do not apply heat as long as the joint is still warm.

Alternate between hot and cold. If the acute swelling and pain subsides and the heat has disappeared, you can use alternating ice and hot compresses to treat it, that is, ice compress for 10 minutes and then hot compress for 10 minutes, and repeat this process.

After understanding these methods, when you encounter such a situation, you can deal with it rationally. Of course, in addition to paying attention to these common sense, you should also pay more attention to the supplementation of some nutrients in your daily life, because this can bring good results in speeding up the recovery of damaged bones.
