Football is a very common game. There are many rules for this kind of game. Before going on the field, you need to have a good understanding of the rules of football games so that you know how to do the best when doing it. However, it should be noted that there are some taboos in the process of this kind of game. You can't do it casually. If there is any violation, there is a possibility of being sent off the field.

Football game rules:

The playing field must be rectangular and the sidelines must be longer than the goal line. Length: 90-120 meters

Width: 45-90 meters

International Competitions

Length: 100-110 meters

Width: 64-75 meters

The length of the World Cup is 105 meters and the width is 68 meters.

Line drawing

The playing field is marked with lines which serve as boundaries for the various areas within the field and should be included in each area.

The two longer boundary lines are called sidelines, and the two shorter lines are called end lines.

All lines must not exceed 12 cm (5 in) in width.

The playing field is divided into two halves by the center line.

Make a center mark at the midpoint of the center line of the field and draw a circle with a radius of 9.15 meters (10 yards) from the center mark.

At each corner of the venue, a flat-top flagpole not less than 1.5 meters (5 feet) is erected with a small flag on it.

Flagpoles may also be placed at both ends of the center line and no less than 1 meter (1 yard) outside the sidelines.

Goal Area

The goal areas are located at both ends of the field and are defined as follows:

Draw two lines perpendicular to the goal line from 5.50 metres (6 yards) inside the goal posts. These lines extend 5.50 metres (6 yards) into the playing field and join a line running parallel to the goal line. The area formed by these lines and the goal line is the goal area.

Penalty Area

The penalty areas are located at both ends of the court and are as follows:

Two lines are drawn perpendicular to the goal line from 16.5 metres (18 yards) inside each goal post. These lines extend 16.5 metres (18 yards) into the field of play and join a line running parallel to the goal line. The area bounded by these lines and the goal line is the penalty area.

A penalty spot is set in each penalty area 11 metres (12 yards) from the midpoint equidistant between the goal posts. Outside the penalty area, draw an arc with a radius of 9.15 meters (10 yards) from each penalty spot.

Corner Area

In the playing field, a quarter circle is drawn with a radius of 1 meter (1 yard) from each corner flagpole. The area inside the arc is called the corner kick area.

The goal must be placed in the center of each goal line.

They consist of two vertical posts equidistant from the corner flagpoles and a horizontal beam connecting their tops.

The distance between the two posts is 7.32 meters (8 yards), and the distance from the bottom edge of the beam to the ground is 2.44 meters (8 feet).

The goalposts and the crossbar have the same width and thickness, not exceeding 12 cm (5 in). The goal line is the same width as the goal posts and crossbar. The goal net may be attached to the goal and the ground behind it and should be properly propped up so as not to interfere with the goalkeeper.

The goal posts and crossbar must be white.

Safety: The goal must be firmly fixed to the ground. Mobile goals can only be used if this requirement is met.

Note: Nets may be made of hemp, jute or nylon. Nylon rope can be used, but it should not be thinner than hemp or jute rope.
