What are the precautions for practicing yoga?

Yoga is sweeping the world with unstoppable momentum, and more and more people are beginning to practice yoga. Indeed, yoga is a very good way to keep fit. By practicing yoga, you can make your body flexible. It has significant effects on both physical health and body shape. However, there are some precautions that everyone must understand when practicing yoga, otherwise it may have adverse effects on the body.

1. Arrive early. Arriving at the classroom about 10 minutes early can help you adjust your mood and calm down. While you wait, you can do some stretches or just sit or lie quietly, slowing your breathing and focusing your mind on the yoga studio.

2. Let your teacher know of any conditions that may affect your practice or any injuries you have had. If you're injured or too tired, you can skip some of the exercises or choose easier ones.

3. Quiet. Sharing with others is a good thing, but speaking for too long or making too much noise will distract yourself and affect others.

Practice what you learned in class afterwards. Review the asanas you practiced in class, paying attention to any special instructions the teacher gave you in class. Even if you only remember one thing, you can deepen your practice.

4. Women should not do inversions or deep twists during their menstrual period. Inversions can cause blood to flow backwards, and deep twists can put pressure on the uterus.

Do not eat within two hours before class. Practicing yoga on a full stomach may cause abdominal cramps, nausea, or vomiting, especially when doing forward bends, twists, or backbends. And a full stomach also makes you want to sleep.

5. Don't force it. Don't try to do the movements beautifully and well like others. You should do the movements that will not hurt yourself.

These are some of the things you should pay attention to when practicing yoga. As yoga becomes more and more popular nowadays, have you started practicing yoga? While exercising, don't forget to do it within your ability. Don't blindly pursue difficult movements and hurt yourself. Everyone must read the above precautions.
