In daily life, people like to do some anaerobic exercise to achieve the goal of losing weight, so is anaerobic exercise effective? Especially for men, it is a very popular way of fitness, but is it really effective? For example, if I do sit-ups for a month or a period of time, can I lose fat? Can sit-ups help you lose fat? Aerobic exercise reduces fat, while anaerobic exercise increases muscle.

Any sport contains both forms. Low-intensity sit-ups also include aerobic exercise. Therefore, doing some sit-ups can definitely help you lose some fat.

But aerobic exercise will not reduce fat in a certain part of the body just because you exercise that part. Sit-ups are difficult to do for long periods of time. Short-duration aerobic exercise is unlikely to effectively burn fat. Therefore, the effect of doing sit-ups on fat loss should not be as good as running and swimming.

If you want to lose belly fat by doing sit-ups, I can tell you the result. No matter how long you practice, your belly will definitely get smaller, and your abdominal muscles will be very strong, but there will always be a layer of fat on the surface. You can look at my avatar, this is the result of half a year of non-stop sit-ups and abdominal muscle tearers. My current condition is that if I use a little strength in my abdomen, I can gently touch the eight abdominal muscles inside, each of which is very independent and hard, but on the surface they look like a piece of fat.

The statement that sit-ups can reduce fat is not necessarily correct, because sit-ups are anaerobic exercises, not intense or high-intensity aerobic exercises, so they can't exercise people. This anaerobic exercise trains the muscles of most people. With day-to-day practice, you can strengthen your muscle groups and form abdominal muscles.
