What to wear for running in winter?

Running is everyone's favorite way of fitness. If we want to achieve the best results with this fitness method and avoid adverse reactions, we should choose the right way and clothes! As the temperature drops, winter is approaching us. So for those who like to run in winter, what kind of clothes should they wear to achieve fitness without harming their health?

1. It is relatively cold in autumn and winter, so you should wear warm clothes when running outdoors, because when you stop, your body temperature will drop rapidly, which may cause a cold or fever at the mildest, or heart disease at the worst.

2. If conditions permit, it is recommended to go to a sports specialty store, such as Nike or Reebok, which sells long-sleeved, elastic, breathable and thermal sportswear, as well as tight-fitting thermal trousers. They are very thin and tight. When running in sub-zero temperatures and with strong winds, you can wear a set of thermal clothing and then a set of single clothes. You will not feel cold at all and the wind will not hit your skin.

Note: Don’t take off your clothes immediately when running in winter, otherwise you will catch a cold or heat cold.

Three-layer dressing principles for winter running:

The first layer is for perspiration, requiring the sweat to evaporate or conduct quickly through the clothes. It is usually made of polyester or special polyester (such as coolmax, climacool, etc.). In summer, just wearing the first layer is enough;

The second layer is for warmth, usually fleece made of polyester or special polyester, used to keep warm when the weather is cool;

The third layer of protection is windproof, rainproof, snowproof, and scratchproof for trail running, usually a windbreaker made of nylon;
