After the last one, lift it up and stop for a while before switching to the other leg. Do 4 sets of this movement as well.

4. After finishing the side leg raise, gently pat the sore area with your hands to relax the muscles. You don't have to wait until you have finished the whole exercise to pat the area. After finishing 20 reps, clap your hands and then switch to the other leg to do side leg raises.
