1. 2. Tap the shoulders quickly, using the hypothenar to tap from the shoulders and neck from top to bottom and from bottom to top for about two minutes;

3. Use your thumb and index finger to pinch the Fengchi and Jianjing points on both sides for 1-2 minutes;

4. Press the stiff neck point (between the 2nd and 3rd metacarpal bones on the back of the hand, 5 fen behind the metacarpophalangeal joint) with your thumb or index finger, and continue for 2-3 minutes until you feel a sore sensation;

5. Finally, perform activities such as flexion, backward, left and right tilting, and rotation of the head and neck. This movement should be performed slowly and do not use excessive force.

Stand behind the person with stiff neck, press lightly on the neck with one finger to find the most painful spot, then use one thumb to start from the top of the neck on that side and go all the way to the shoulder and back, massaging in turn, massage the most painful spot vigorously until you feel obvious soreness and swelling, which indicates that the force is enough, repeat this massage 2 to 3 times, then tap the massaged area with a hollow fist, and repeat 2 to 3 times. Repeating the above massage and tapping can quickly relax the spasmodic neck muscles and relieve pain.

Heat

Hot water bottles, electric hand warmers, hot towels and infrared bulbs can all have an analgesic effect. Care must be taken to avoid burns.

Choose safflower oil, Gancunshan rheumatism oil, Yun essence, etc., rub the painful area 2 to 3 times a day, which will have a certain effect.
