Ponda means "blockade, seal" in yoga. It can enhance the activities of various digestive systems in the human body and cure certain diseases of the digestive system. The Ponda Three Bandhas is to practice contracting the forehead, abdomen and perineum at the same time. The method is very simple and it is recommended to use yoga breathing. But don’t rush into Ponda practice, as Ponda practice requires a relaxed mood. To begin, sit in meditation with your hands lightly placed on your knees. Close your eyes, relax, do a yoga breath, and hold your breath when you finish exhaling. While holding your breath, close your forehead, lift and tighten your abdomen, and contract your perineum. Perform these three steps simultaneously. Try to maintain it until you can no longer hold your breath, then slowly raise your head, relax your abdomen, and relax your perineum. Recover your breath This is a complete round. This is normal. When you finish the practice, don't open your eyes immediately. You can continue to observe the heat of your spine until you feel comfortable, or the chanting of om ends. There are many benefits to practicing the three bandhas of Ponda, but there are a few points I need to mention to you: Ponda must be performed on an empty stomach. Before meals is a good time. It is recommended that you wait four hours after meals before practicing. Ponda is best practiced at three times: sunrise, midday, and sunset, i.e. early morning, noon, and dusk. It's strange, isn't it? Ponda has a subtle but important relationship with the sun. Beginners should not practice more than 4 rounds each time. As time goes by, you can gradually increase the number of rounds. Don't be impatient. Because Ponda's intestinal massage is quite intense, if you do it too many times at the beginning, your intestines will not be able to bear it. Do not practice it after drinking or when you are feeling unwell. Although the Ponda Three-Beam Method is relatively simple to practice, it can be very effective.
