Tai Chi Meridian Health Preservation Method

Tai Chi Meridian Health Preservation Method

With the rapid development of social life, people are enjoying high quality of life, but are also suffering from many diseases. Therefore, health preservation is becoming more and more important. Carrying out some health preservation every day can effectively reduce some diseases, achieve very good health preservation goals, and increase resistance. At night, we often see some people practicing Tai Chi. I want to practice Tai Chi to maintain my health. What are the methods?

1. Practice theory instead of strength

"Li" refers to the truth and principle of Tai Chi. Tai Chi is about practicing the Great Way, that is, the principle that in the transformation of Yin and Yang in Tai Chi, Yang generates Yin and Yin generates Yang. Tai Chi contains both hardness and softness, and hardness and softness complement each other; extreme emptiness gives rise to reality, and extreme reality gives rise to emptiness, and the emptiness and the reality transform into each other. Through the practice of concentrating the mind, guiding the Qi with the mind, moving the body with the Qi, and following the mind to the Qi and the body, one can achieve the state of moving the whole body together, with the inside and the outside being in harmony. When practicing, follow the rules, let nature take its course, and don't rush for results. Strength training refers to the training of qi. Although this kind of exercise can make local strength very large, this kind of strength is clumsy and rigid and lacks spirituality, which is not adopted by Tai Chi practitioners.

2. Practice the book but not the standard

"Ben" refers to the origin and root, namely the vital energy in the kidneys and the lower body skills. The kidneys store the original yin and yang and are the innate root and the source of qi. If the kidney qi is sufficient, the five internal organs will be nourished, and the liver, heart, spleen, lungs, and kidneys will each perform their functions, so you will be energetic, strong, responsive, and coordinated. The fullness of internal Qi is one of the origins. The second means that on the basis of relaxation of the whole body, the Qi is taken into Dantian and sinks into Yongquan, so that the upper body is flexible, the middle body is active, the lower body is stable, and it takes root. "Biao" refers to a local exercise method whose main purpose is to train the strength and hardness of various parts of the body. Tai Chi is an internal martial art that cultivates both inside and outside, with the main focus on training the inner essence, "cultivating the roots and nourishing the source", "cultivating the roots will naturally lead to luxuriant branches and leaves, nourishing the source will naturally lead to long veins".

3. Practice the body instead of the moves

Training the body means training overall skills, and the moves are the offensive and defensive meanings of each movement. People who are new to Tai Chi often want to understand the usage of each move and posture. If you only explain and understand the usage and connotation of Tai Chi from the perspective of moves, it is impossible to grasp the essence of Tai Chi. Practicing Tai Chi requires one to go through the process of becoming proficient in routines, performing movements correctly, and getting rid of stiffness and seeking softness, so that the whole body can move together, the inside and outside can be coordinated, the internal Qi can be substantial and full, and the Kung Fu can be practiced. Tai Chi is mainly used to train one's overall strength. When it is used against an enemy, one must adapt to the objective situation, put oneself in the other's shoes, and be flexible, without being bound by a single move or posture. When the internal energy is enriched, the whole body is like a ball filled with air. It will respond to any sensation and can strike anywhere it touches. As the boxing theory says: "When you reach the peak, you will know how to respond to your enemy's attacks without having to think about it."

The Tai Chi meridian health-preserving method is a very simple method, and is often practiced by some elderly friends. The movements are not very big, but when practicing Tai Chi, you must pay attention to your posture. The correct posture is also very important. Only by persisting in practicing for a long time can you achieve the health-preserving effect.
