When the body sweats after exercise, it loses a lot of water, causing dehydration. The salt concentration in the blood will increase, and the burden on cardiovascular operation will increase. Therefore, if it is not replenished in time, it will affect the work of cardiovascular function. Water replenishment should be divided into three stages: before, during and after exercise. Replenish about 500cc of water before exercise, replenish 100cc to 150cc of water every 10 to 15 minutes during exercise, and replenish as much as possible after exercise. Since it takes 20 to 30 minutes for water to be ingested, enter the gastrointestinal tract, and then be absorbed by the human body, drinking a large amount of water at one time will instead cause the water to concentrate in the stomach and fail to truly achieve the purpose of replenishing water.

Water replenishment principle:

1. Don’t wait until you are thirsty to drink water. Thirst indicates that the body's cells are dehydrated to a certain degree and the brain center has sent a signal requiring water replenishment. Drinking water regularly can keep the body balanced, which is beneficial to maintaining the body's physiological functions and metabolism.

2. Don’t use beverages instead of water. Most beverages contain a certain amount of sugar, electrolytes, etc. These substances do not leave the stomach as quickly as boiled water. Long-term drinking will cause adverse stimulation to the stomach and increase the burden on kidney filtration, affecting its function.

3. Do not drink too cold water as it is bad for your stomach. It is recommended to drink it at room temperature, or slightly below room temperature. Sports drinks are formulated based on the characteristics of physiological consumption during exercise. They can specifically replenish the nutrients lost during exercise, maintain and improve athletic ability, and accelerate the elimination of fatigue after exercise.

After we exercise, we must pay attention to the above situation. Now everyone knows what to drink after exercise. This is related to the good or bad for our body. If we drink it incorrectly, it will directly affect our body. We must pay attention. In addition, we must take a slow walk or slow walk after exercise, and we cannot stop to rest immediately.
