Many women have this experience: after exercising for a period of time, they always feel pain in certain parts of the body, such as the lower abdomen, joints, back, etc.
1. Vulvar trauma If you are not careful during activities, such as the vulva collides with the bicycle seat, beam or other hard objects, it is easy to cause vulvar hematoma, and in severe cases, it can damage the urethra, vagina, and even the pelvic cavity. This is especially important for young girls because they often neglect to protect their bodies during sports. 2. Abnormal menstruation A survey by foreign experts showed that among young girls who engage in high amounts of exercise, a considerable proportion suffer from menstrual abnormalities, which are mostly manifested as delayed menarche, irregular periods, secondary amenorrhea, etc. The greater the amount of exercise, the later the age of menarche. The main reason is that intense exercise can inhibit the function of the hypothalamus, causing endocrine system dysfunction, affecting the normal level of sex hormones in the body, and thus interfering with the formation and cycle of normal menstruation. 3. Ovarian rupture Vigorous activities, lifting heavy objects, abdominal compression, collision, etc. can cause ovarian rupture, resulting in lower abdominal pain and even the entire abdomen. Ovarian rupture usually occurs on the 10th to 18th day of the menstrual cycle, in which 80% of the corpus luteum or corpus luteum cyst ruptures, and blood is found in abdominal puncture. 4. Endometriosis Vigorous exercise during menstruation may cause menstrual blood to flow back from the uterine cavity into the pelvic cavity. The endometrial debris flowing with the menstrual blood may be implanted on the ovaries and form cysts. After suffering from endometriosis, patients often experience progressively worsening dysmenorrhea and often suffer from infertility. 5. Uterine prolapse When women do excessive exercise, especially weightlifting and other training, abdominal pressure will increase, causing the uterus to temporarily drop, but uterine prolapse will not occur. If you over-exercise for a long time, uterine prolapse will occur. Some experiments have shown that when women with normal uterine position carry a weight of 20 kg, there is no obvious change in the position of the cervix; when they carry a weight of 40 kg, the cervix shifts significantly downward. |
