Elderly health care equipment

The body resistance of the elderly in the family is not as good as before as they get older, especially when the seasons change. If they don’t wear enough clothes, they will be particularly prone to catching a cold. After catching a cold, it will take a long time to treat. The elderly’s body cannot withstand such torment, so the best thing is to supervise the elderly in the family to do more exercise in normal times to help enhance their resistance.

As the elderly get older, their body coordination is not as good as before, so they are not as flexible as young people in sports. However, you can buy some health care equipment for the elderly so that they can exercise at home.

Exercise bikes have incomparable advantages over bicycles - you can freely adjust your riding speed, and you can observe your speed, time, heart rate, etc. at every moment through the electronic meter on the exercise bike; exercise bikes also have a strong sense of security for older people and women.

Riding an exercise bike requires almost no skills, but the purpose of exercise is different and the riding method is different. Riding an exercise bike is a very good aerobic exercise. It not only keeps you fit, but also has a strong auxiliary medical effect. Fitness enthusiasts can use it to prevent obesity or lose weight. You can choose different cycling methods to improve cardiovascular function and other purposes. The specific training methods are:

Free riding - the riding time should be no less than 30 minutes a day, and the speed should be controlled so that there is no obvious change in breathing rhythm.

Interval Cycling - Here are the steps:

Warm up by riding for 5 minutes, then rest for 2 minutes;

Ride for 5 minutes at 60% intensity, then rest for 3 minutes;

Ride at 80% intensity for 3 to 5 minutes, then rest for 5 minutes;

Ride at 50% intensity for 5 to 10 minutes, deepen your breathing and relieve fatigue.

The benefit of an exercise bike is that it can enhance cardiovascular function. However, I still think outdoor exercise is better, such as taking a walk in the morning and evening. It is also nice to spend time with the elderly at night to walk, chat and breathe fresh air.

Placing an exercise bike at home can not only help the elderly to exercise, but also other family members can exercise. The bodies of the elderly are different from those of the young. As they age, other organs in the bodies of the elderly begin to fail. Therefore, if you want to have a healthy body, it is better to exercise more.
