The benefits and effects of exercise on the heart

Exercise has many benefits for the heart. Fat children who exercise regularly can become thinner, and thin children can eat more and gain weight, becoming fatter. My son is never idle throughout the day. He is always running around or jumping around. My grandma often says that children who exercise regularly will love to eat and grow taller. I heard more detailed information about the benefits of exercise for the heart from my kindergarten teacher. Now I will share with you the benefits of exercise for the heart.

1) Changes in cardiac output: Cardiac output responds sensitively to acute exercise, and its purpose is to quickly adapt to the needs of body activities. At the beginning of exercise, cardiac output increases rapidly, then increases slowly and gradually reaches stability. At this time, the body's blood flow state and the metabolic needs of muscle activity are in a relatively balanced state. During exercise, the amount of blood returning to the heart greatly increases due to the rhythmic contraction and relaxation of muscles and the enhancement of breathing movements, which is a guarantee for increasing cardiac input and output. Based on the increase in the amount of blood returning to the heart, the heart rate increases and the myocardial contractility strengthens, thereby increasing cardiac output. (2) Changes in blood volume in various organs: Cardiac output increases during exercise, but the increased cardiac output is not evenly distributed to all organs in the body. Through the body's regulatory mechanisms, blood flow to various organs will be redistributed. The result is a significant increase in blood flow to the heart and exercising muscles, and a decrease in blood flow to skeletal muscles and internal organs that are not involved in the exercise. At the beginning of exercise, skin blood flow also decreases, but later due to increased muscle heat production and rising body temperature, the skin blood vessels dilate and blood flow increases through the body temperature regulation mechanism to increase skin heat dissipation. (3) Changes in arterial blood pressure: Changes in arterial blood pressure depend on the relationship between changes in cardiac output and peripheral resistance, and are related to exercise intensity and mode.

Exercise can improve your cardiorespiratory endurance. During exercise, the muscles contract and a large amount of nutrients and oxygen are required, so the number of heart contractions increases and the amount of blood pumped out each time is more than usual. At the same time, the demand for oxygen also increases, the number of breaths is more than normal, and the lungs contract and expand to a greater extent. So when exercise continues and muscles contract for a long time, the heart and lungs must work hard to supply oxygen to the muscles and transport waste away from the muscles. This continuous demand can improve cardiopulmonary endurance. When cardiorespiratory endurance increases, the body can exercise for longer or at a higher intensity and is less likely to tire.

The above are all introductions to the benefits of exercise for the heart. After reading this, friends who don’t like exercise should stand up and start exercising. Exercise can strengthen your physical fitness and prevent you from getting sick. Children’s exercise can enhance their immunity and make their bodies stronger. Children’s exercise is led by their parents. For the sake of your children, mom and dad should start exercising quickly.
