Hidden danger 1: air quality

There are many types of gyms, such as yoga rooms, spinning rooms, dance gyms, etc. Many women like to exercise in these gyms, but most of these exercises are aerobic exercises, and when doing these exercises indoors, the air in the room is not as good as the outdoor air. If there are many people, the indoor air can easily become turbid, making it easy for people to have difficulty breathing during exercise, which is detrimental to the smooth progress of the exercise and human health.

Aerobic exercise certainly requires fresh oxygen. If you exercise in a gym without good ventilation and convection devices, the exhaust gas in the room will continue to circulate, which can easily lead to the occurrence of some epidemic diseases. In addition, the equipment and facilities in the gym are also likely to become sources of infection, such as some plastic carpets, density boards, artificial plywood, etc. Some newly renovated gyms may still have hidden dangers of air pollution such as formaldehyde.

Hidden danger 2: Equipment infection

The fitness equipment in the gym is used by many people. Often, three people can use one strength trainer every 20 minutes, and one person can use one treadmill every 15 minutes. Many people went up to warm up immediately after the people in front of them left, and the armrests were still wet and sticky. When people use fitness equipment, their bodies will have large-area contact with the equipment. Sweat and bacteria on the body will easily remain on the equipment, which can easily cause the spread of bacteria and viruses and threaten health.

Hidden danger three: sanitary products are not guaranteed

Many gyms provide a set of towels, slippers and other items to their members. Although these towels are all white, look very clean and have no odor, many people will lay the towels on the pedals when doing step aerobics to prevent slipping during exercise. In this case, the cleanliness of these towels is not guaranteed. Even if the gym has disinfection measures, it cannot be guaranteed to be completely clean.

Many people like to go to the gym to work out. Many fitness equipment in indoor gyms are safe and effective. However, it should be noted that when using these fitness equipment, you should know the fitness precautions and do warm-up exercises before exercise to avoid damage to the joints.
