Why do I sweat too much when running?

Why do I sweat too much when running?

Running is a relatively simple exercise that can effectively exercise the muscles and endurance of the whole body. Therefore, among modern urban people, running is almost a full-time exercise. As people's pace of life accelerates, more and more people choose to use running to relieve stress. However, some people sweat too much when running, and are accompanied by a little fatigue. So, why do they sweat too much when running?

The greater the intensity of the exercise, the more you sweat. Because as the intensity of exercise increases, more heat and a large amount of metabolites are produced: carbon dioxide and water. In order to maintain normal body temperature, the human body must increase sweating to dissipate excess heat. Therefore, exercise intensity is directly proportional to sweating.

The amount of body fluid is determined by the body fat content. Because adipose tissue contains relatively less water, fat people have less body fluid than thin people. Although fat people sweat a lot during exercise, their ability to tolerate water loss is relatively poor. If the exercise time is not long, fat people will become fatigued prematurely due to metabolic disorders.

Whether or not you drink water before exercise also affects sweating. If you drink a lot of water before exercise, it will lead to an increase in body fluids and increase the amount of sweating. Secondly, it also depends on the individual's physical fitness. People with strong physiques have healthier muscles and motor organs, so even if they do high-intensity exercise, it is effortless and they naturally sweat less. On the contrary, people with poor physical fitness will sweat profusely after a little activity.

It is normal to sweat too much while running. People who experience this phenomenon do not need to worry. In fact, sweating a lot is good for the body. It can eliminate harmful substances in the body as much as possible and ensure the healthy functioning of the body. However, you should also pay attention to water replenishment after running and never get dehydrated.
