Step 1: Two people sit back to back on the bed, open their legs to shoulder width, hook their feet, hang their hands at their sides, open their palms, put four fingers together, and lightly touch the ground with their fingertips. Keep your head up and chest out, straighten your back, feel your spine extending upward, your hips tightly together, and make sure your torso and legs form a 90-degree angle;

Step 2: Keep your hips and spines together even when your upper body bends down. Then slowly bend your upper body forward until you reach your limit, stop, and hold for 3-5 breaths. The position of the hands and legs remains unchanged;

Couple Yoga Tip 2: Rib Lengthening

The rib lengthening exercise can effectively stretch the side lines of the upper body and help digest food at night.

Step 1: Two people sit in a straight line, about two palms’ length apart. Extend your legs outward, straighten the outer leg and stretch the instep; bend the inner leg at the knee and keep the heel against the base of the thigh. The arm between the two people is straightened, with the fingertips touching the ground; the outer arm is extended upward, with the elbow slightly bent and the palm facing forward;

Step 2: Slowly hold your hands together above your head and pull each other's hands outward. At this time, the forces between the two hands are opposite, and you will feel the side of your body being stretched. The position of your feet and the other hand remains unchanged.

Rib Lengthening - Back Position

The two hands use the four fingers of the hands to interlock and pull with opposite forces at the same time, so that the two hands are at the fingertips of two people.
