So what should you do if you can't float when swimming?

1. Relax your whole body. Take a breath and lean forward and stretch your body. Put your arms on both sides of your thighs (that is, touch both sides of your thighs with both hands), feel that your body is about to float up, and then immediately push the water twice with both feet (just like pushing the water in breaststroke). Only by pushing the water quickly in this way, your body will not sink.

2. Put your feet together and straighten them. Bend your toes straight down. Use your thighs to push hard. Pushing the water will move it forward.

3. When kicking water with your thighs, your shoulders must be balanced and not shake left and right, otherwise you will lose your sense of balance. Don't move your head.

4. Arm paddling: Put your right hand together and lift your arm to your ear, but don't paddling over your head (keep it in a straight line). When your hand enters the water, the little finger should enter the water first. The thumb is out of the water. Then enter the water with your left hand, using the same method as when paddling with your right hand. One arm goes in the water and the other arm comes out. Alternate hands, just like pedaling a bicycle.

5. Remember: Do not shake your shoulders left and right. Lift your arms and paddle close to your ears, but don't let your hands go inside your head. Also, you should use your thighs to kick the water hard, and never use your calves. Also, don't sit your butt in the water, your body must be in a straight line, and your arms must be straight when you paddle.

The way to breathe in when doing backstroke is to inhale through your mouth and exhale through your nose, so that your nose will not be choked by water.
