What should I do if my legs hurt from hiking?

It is inevitable that we will experience some minor pains in our bodies in life. Of course, leg pain should not be considered a serious illness, but sometimes it hurts so much that we can't help but grimace. Many times, the cause of leg pain is exercise. Excessive exercise may cause cramps in our legs. If the leg pain is caused by being too tired from climbing, what solutions do we have? How to take protective measures.

The first step to deal with leg pain after climbing: rest more. Rest can relieve muscle soreness, slowly promote blood circulation, accelerate the elimination of metabolic products, and eliminate the supply and repair of nutrients to the sore muscle area, restoring it to normal. So you should rest more after exercise to relieve fatigue. Step 2: Stretch. When resting, don't forget to do static stretching exercises on the sore areas, that is, stretching exercises. How to perform this type of exercise will be discussed later.

Step 3: Massage. Massage the sore muscles to relax them, promote blood circulation, speed up the decomposition of lactic acid, and reduce the degree of muscle soreness.

Step 4: Apply hot compress. Use a hot towel to apply heat to the sore muscles to promote blood circulation, speed up metabolism, and relieve the pain caused by muscle soreness. (It is best to accompany the stretching exercise in step 2 during the hot compress process, which can speed up the elimination of muscle soreness and restore it to normal)

Step 5: Take medication. You can also choose appropriate ointment to apply to the sore muscles and use medicine to relieve the pain.

Step 6: Reduce pain through exercise. Stand up straight, raise your arms to your chest, and then extend them backwards until your arms are parallel. Then stretch your arms to the left and right respectively, not too slow or too fast. Then lift your arms up and straighten them as best you can, and finally stretch them downward.

Of course, if you have leg pain after spending money to climb a mountain, it is another indicator that you lack exercise. If you exercise every day, there should be no problem as long as you don't climb too high mountains. Therefore, if your physical fitness is not very good, it is recommended that you do not climb too high mountains. Exercise also needs to be done slowly.
