How to prevent thick legs by running

Try to land on the forefoot when running. This can not only help us save a lot of physical energy but also effectively help us prevent the problem of thick legs. At the same time, after running, you can eat more high-vitamin foods and some vitamin-rich drinks to effectively help us replenish the body's nutritional needs. It is also very important to master some methods to prevent thick legs during running.

1. Warm up before running and stretch your leg muscles as fully as possible for about five minutes.

2. Try to run at a constant speed and slow down to avoid running at a high speed for a short period of time to increase the explosive power of your legs. Generally, running should be maintained for 30 to 50 minutes, and the heart rate should be maintained at 120-170 beats per minute.

3. After running, do static stretching for your legs for 5-20 minutes. This can stretch the stiff muscles in the legs, achieve the purpose of slimming and shaping the legs, and prevent the appearance of thick "elephant legs". In addition, you can also use your fists to hammer or your fingers to pull your calf muscles to eliminate lactic acid accumulation after running.

4. Try to avoid high-protein foods after running to prevent excessive protein from being added to the calf muscle fibers and affecting leg shaping.

5. If you run a lot, try to run every other day. Because sometimes the legs tend to swell up easily, and the tight muscles create the illusion of thick legs. If you don't want to deliberately build up your calf muscles, then don't deliberately do strength training for your calves.

Stretching method:

1. Place your hands on the ground in front of your body, stretch your left leg horizontally, and straighten your toes. Slowly lean forward and hold for 10 seconds. Repeat back and forth twice, then switch legs and repeat.

2. Step forward with one leg while lowering your waist and returning the stepped leg to its original position. Do this 10 times on each side.

During the running process, we must master some effective methods to prevent our legs from becoming thick, which can help us achieve the effect of weight loss while avoiding the trouble of one aspect. It can help us shape a more perfect body and make us look better in clothes.
