Is it better to run in the morning before or after meals?

Many people are keen on running because it is good for the body. Running is also an aerobic exercise. Running can improve people's physical fitness, making people healthier and reducing the invasion of many diseases. But should we choose to run before or after meals in the morning? Some people think that running on an empty stomach will cause low blood sugar, and some people think that running after meals will hurt the stomach. So is it better to run before or after meals in the morning?

It is best to run in the morning before meals, but you cannot run on an empty stomach. Before running, you should drink a glass of warm water or light salt water and eat a small snack, such as two biscuits, to prevent hypoglycemia.

Because the body is at its weakest after a night without food, running is the easiest way to burn fat and has the best effect. However, you have to persist for more than 40 minutes so that your cardiopulmonary function can be best exercised.

It should also be noted that there should be at least 30 minutes between eating time and exercise time. Eating immediately after running will cause a decrease in gastric acid secretion, affecting the digestion of food, and will cause stomach problems over time.

It is okay to run after a meal, but it is best to run an hour later, or at least half an hour. We all know that it is not advisable to do strenuous exercise after a meal, otherwise it will inhibit the secretion of digestive juice and the peristalsis of the digestive tract. At the same time, because strenuous exercise increases the blood flow to the bones and muscles throughout the body, the blood flow to the stomach, intestines and internal organs decreases, which can easily cause indigestion, affect absorption, and even cause chronic indigestion in severe cases. It can also cause gastroptosis.

In fact, it is best to run after breakfast in the morning. Why? Because if you go running on an empty stomach, at this time, firstly, you will not have enough physical strength, and secondly, it will cause symptoms of hypoglycemia, which can cause dizziness. However, your food choices in the morning must be reasonable. At this time, it is best to eat something that can increase energy, but not make your stomach too full, such as eating a piece of chocolate while eating.
