There are many issues to pay attention to when doing yoga exercises. For example, it is best to take a shower before exercising. Doing yoga exercises after taking a shower will allow the body to relax to a greater extent. After completing yoga exercises, the body may be tired, so you should take a proper rest at this time. After exercising, do not take a shower immediately. You can sit down calmly and adjust your breathing. Do not eat immediately after exercising.

There are no special regulations on the diet of practitioners. You can fill half of your stomach with food, a quarter with water, and keep the remaining quarter empty. That is, don't eat too much to avoid feeling heavy and lazy. Do not eat within one hour before or after practicing yoga, and try to avoid practicing within two hours after a meal; do not practice difficult movements six months after surgery and during women's menstrual period; patients with hypertension, asthma and pregnant women only do simple movements; it is better to go barefoot and wear loose and comfortable clothes so that the body can move freely.

It is not advisable to practice on a floor that is too hard or a bed that is too soft. Instead, you should lay a mat on the floor when practicing. If you feel exhausted or have cramps while maintaining a certain posture, you should stop the exercise immediately and massage yourself. It is best to practice in a quiet, well-ventilated room. The indoor air should be fresh and oxygen can be breathed in freely. You can also practice outdoors, but the environment should be pleasant, such as a garden, and not in strong winds, cold or unclean, smoky air. Do not practice near furniture, stoves, or in any place that may hinder your practice to avoid accidents. Especially when doing headstand, do not practice under an electric fan. When practicing, you can do it with your eyes open or closed, and focus on the sensations occurring in your body.

Generally speaking, it is best for women not to do overly strenuous activities during menstruation. Yoga exercises consume a lot of physical energy, so women during menstruation are best not to practice yoga, otherwise it may cause backflow of menstruation and even induce some gynecological diseases. Also, do not practice yoga during the first three months of pregnancy. After three months, you can do some simple yoga moves.
