How to improve flexibility

The muscles and bones in the body are connected by fascia, which can be stretched and contracted when we do stretching exercises. When there is a problem with these connecting fascia, it will affect the stretching activities. For example, if you cannot touch your toes when bending over, it means that your body's flexibility is very poor. It may be a problem with the muscles and tendons in the feet, or it may be that the back muscles and ligaments are not flexible enough. Therefore, doing some flexibility exercises can effectively help restore the body's flexibility. There are active and passive stretching methods, as well as exercises using fitness equipment or with the help of ropes, sticks, etc.

1. Run first, then do stretching exercises

Before exercising tolerance, we need to run first to allow our body muscles to move. At this time, we need to do some stretching exercises, such as lunges and leg stretches. Improve your flexibility through a series of exercises.

2. Yoga

Yoga is about the unity of our body, mind and spirit. When we do yoga, we need to practice a lot of basic skills. We should do stretching exercises frequently, so that our flexibility will also be improved.

3. Persistence, don’t let up

Set goals and achieve them every day, and ensure daily training time. Only when you have enough training and persist in it will there be results in the long run. Don't fish for three days and dry the net for two days.

When doing flexibility exercises, you should pay attention to the intensity, time and frequency of the exercises. Do not increase the intensity of the exercises all at once. Develop an exercise plan that suits your physical condition. Do not rush for quick results. Strong pulling may cause ligament sprains and muscle damage, but the main symptom is not too much pain. Warm up before practicing so that you can stretch during formal practice. In addition, the movements must be correct. You can consult a fitness coach and read books first.
