Bodybuilding enthusiasts should always remind themselves that they are building their bodies, not competing with others, so as to avoid serious injury accidents. Don't overdo it when building muscle. Overdoing is one of the most common problems encountered by bodybuilding enthusiasts. Many beginners often think that increasing the amount of exercise can achieve greater results.

It is under the guidance of this wrong idea that many bodybuilding enthusiasts exercise 6 days a week and 4 to 5 hours a day. In fact, the positive effects of bodybuilding training (such as muscle development) are achieved during the rest phase. Exercising for too long or too frequently will prevent the body from getting enough time to recover and replenish the energy consumed during long-term exercise.

Remember that exercising three times a week is more effective, and exercising six times a week will not double the results. On the contrary, the risk of injury from excessive exercise may increase simultaneously. Exercise is like eating and drinking water. It’s not about more the better; what’s important is moderation. Remember, over-exercising is worse than under-exercising.

For beginners, we recommend exercising 3 times a week, 1 hour each time.

Avoid arbitrarily extending the exercise time. In order to develop muscles and improve performance, many bodybuilding enthusiasts are eager to improve their performance. They always hope to complete the most content with their greatest effort in daily exercise classes. Under the guidance of this idea, people often arbitrarily increase the number of sets, repetitions and duration of exercises in exercise classes. Even if I get the urge, I will practice non-stop and refuse to rest. This will not only fail to achieve the purpose of good exercise, but will have the opposite effect.

Firstly, if the exercise time is prolonged, the practitioner's ability to concentrate will be weakened or even lost, which can easily lead to sports injuries. Secondly, it will reduce interest in exercise, turning pleasure into trouble, causing over-saturation in muscle groups and reduced movement quality.

When we exercise our muscles, we should not just exercise blindly and ignore the taboos of muscle exercise. If we violate some taboos of muscle exercise, it will not only be unhelpful to our exercise, but may also have a counterproductive effect.
