Can running regularly help you lose weight on your legs?

Many overweight people usually have too much fat on their stomach, arms or thighs, which causes obesity. Nowadays, many people use running to lose weight, because running is the simplest and cheapest way to lose weight. However, many people also say that running is not effective for losing weight and cannot reduce fat on the legs. This makes many people wonder, can running reduce the fat on the legs?

Long-term aerobic exercise burns not only fat but also muscle. Therefore, turning running into aerobic exercise can help you lose weight. Exercise physiologists have found that when exercise reaches 60% of the maximum heart rate, the body consumes more fat than sugar (glycogen) or protein (muscle). But if the exercise intensity is higher, that is, above 75% of the maximum heart rate, the body will directly use fat, sugar and protein as energy sources. In other words, the harder you train, the more calories you burn.

Jogging is definitely effective, but you must persist in running. And you won’t burn fat during the initial period of running. The real fat burning begins 30 minutes after exercise. You may also build muscles! Eat more vegetables such as kelp, sweet potato, cucumber, leek, and celery! Try not to drink milk or beverages, just drink soy milk! You must eat breakfast, and don't eat anything after 8 o'clock in the evening. If you really can't help it, go to bed later, but be careful of dark circles under your eyes! Eat small meals frequently, 4 or 5 meals a day is enough. It is best to drink a glass of water half an hour before meals. Walk around more often on weekdays and don’t sit all the time. When watching TV, be sure to sit and don’t lie down or lean. If you want to slim down your legs, try doing 30 squats every day! After the exercise, give yourself a proper massage and you won’t gain muscle.

Through the above introduction, everyone should now know that running is still effective in reducing thigh fat, but this requires long-term persistence.
