What are the exercises before swimming?

It is impossible to trace exactly when humans learned swimming, but swimming as a sport is widely spread throughout the world. Swimming can increase a person's lung capacity, enhance myocardial function, make the skin smooth and elastic, and regular swimming can shape a perfect streamlined body. But many friends don’t know that there are some warm-up activities that need to be paid attention to before swimming.

The purpose of warm-up is to raise body temperature, improve the functions of various organs in the body (tendons and bones, nervous system, respiratory and circulatory system, cardiac power system), and put the body in the most suitable state for exercise.

The warm-up before training starts with 5 to 10 minutes of stretching exercises. When swimming, you should swim slowly for 400 meters, doing the stroke and kicking, and swim 5 sections of 100 meters.

Then conduct awareness training. Picture the practice session in your mind for a while and choose a swimming lane. Visualize the details of today's practice plan and the details of the movements. Finally, imagine yourself standing on the shore of the swimming pool, imagine the cheers of your friends and the smell of the swimming pool, imagine the excitement when you succeed one day.

For the warm-up of swimming competition, it is more effective to gradually increase the intensity of exercise so that the heart rate can reach 140-150 beats per minute.

The swimming distance is 1500~2000 meters. Ends 30 minutes before the start of the game. If there is not much time left before the competition, you can adjust by doing some light exercises such as putting on and taking off sportswear and stretching.

Some friends may have experienced leg cramps while swimming, which is because they did not do the warm-up exercises before swimming. Before swimming, you must complete various warm-up exercises, and when doing swimming training, you must have a companion or coach with you so that you can call for emergency help in case of an accident.
