Because plastic wrap is produced at high temperatures, it does not carry bacteria.

Watermelon covered with plastic wrap or refrigerated directly at home should not be kept for more than 24 hours. When you take the watermelon out of the refrigerator to eat, you can first cut off the surface part about 1 cm thick. If the watermelon is covered with plastic wrap, it is best to place it in a refrigerator at 0℃ ~ 4℃. This environment can inhibit the reproduction rate of bacteria. If there is a separate space in the refrigerator to store watermelons, it is not recommended to cover them with plastic wrap to prevent odor contamination and water loss.
