What are the steps in a badminton training tutorial?

Badminton is a very good sport and is very popular in our country. It is also a frequent gold medalist in the Olympic Games. Badminton can be divided into singles badminton and doubles badminton according to the number of participants. Badminton is very suitable for men, women, young and old. It is very suitable to be played in parks and sports plazas. So how should badminton be trained?

1. Forehand grip: the base of the thumb is facing the small edge of the narrow side of the handle, the thumb and index finger are placed on the two wide sides of the handle, the index finger and middle finger are slightly separated, the middle finger, ring finger and little finger are together to hold the handle, the palms should not be too close, the end of the handle should be level with the hypothenar muscle near the wrist, and the racket face should be basically perpendicular to the ground. This grip is generally used for forehand serves, various shots in the right court area, and overhead shots in the left court area.

2. Backhand grip: Based on the forehand grip, the thumb and index finger turn the handle slightly outward, with the top of the thumb on the wide surface or inner edge of the handle. The middle finger, ring finger and little finger hold the handle together, with the end of the handle close to the base of the little finger, leaving a gap in the palm. The racket is tilted towards the left side of the body, with the racket face slightly tilted back. Generally speaking, when hitting a ball coming from the left side of the body, most people first turn their body (with their back to the net) and then hit the ball with a backhand grip.

3. Forehand high ball: The preparation posture before hitting the ball and the hitting action are basically the same as forehand high ball. The difference is that the hitting point of the overhead high ball is above the left shoulder (because the ball flies to the rear left corner). When preparing to hit the ball, turn sideways (left shoulder facing the net) and lean back slightly to the left. When hitting the ball, the upper arm drives the forearm to make the ball go over the top of the head, and then swing forward from the upper left to hit the ball hard.

Badminton is a healthy sport that can promote physical development and improve various functions of our body. It is a very effective means of exercise. The amount of exercise is small and the activity time is about 40 to 50 minutes. It can also enhance the function of our cardiovascular and nervous systems, and can effectively prevent geriatric diseases.
